Challenge

As pioneers in the "ready to drink cocktails" market, BuzzBallz faced mounting competition with RTD cockatiels popping up left and right. They needed to create a splash that would reinforce their brand, help it stand out on the crowded retail shelves, and drive sales. We were asked to whip up their first national ad campaign.

The
idea

The BuzzBallz's round, spherical shape is unlike the slim cans that frequently crowd shelves. We wanted to put the unique shape of the product at the forefront of the campaign. Starting a conversation among consumers and viewers, and leaving them with a lasting impression every time they saw those beautiful round packages.

03 / Project

The
execution

We had Blake Anderson for one shooting day and had to get creative on how to film all 3 spots on an efficient budget. We filmed all the party scenes with Blake on day one, and all the flashback reenactment sceneson day two. For those we up built the caveman and prohibition period sets back-to-back in our studio so we could film them seamlessly on a single day.
