The
Challenge

BuzzBallz, a leader in the ready-to-drink cocktail market, wanted to amplify brand awareness and distinguish itself in a saturated and competitive market. The objective was to create a memorable CTV/Streaming summer campaign that would engage consumers and highlight the brand's unique appeal. The campaign had to match the out-there and irreverent vibe of the brand while building while building it's cult following.

02 / Project

The
idea

We wanted to highlight BuzzBallz's vibrant array of flavors and refreshing appeal in the most over-the-top way possible—so we created “BuzzBallz Land.” Drawing inspiration from the concept of “farm to table,” we used this whimsical absurd world to emphasize the natural flavors of BuzzBallz. The BuzzBallz Land concept opened the door for three outrageous and spots that brought the brand's bold personality to life. We knew if we could find the right talent to star in it…we could have a serious homerun.

03 / Project

The
execution

We led a talent search and eventually landed on Zach Fox from ‘Abbott Elementary’. He was perfect for the tone and resonated with the audience. We tailored the spots to him, even collaborating on some “bars” for the “BuzzBallz Land Rap” spot. The spots were filmed over multiple days at an orchard in the Los Angeles area, decked with additional trucks of fake trees, and over 3,000 BuzzBallz (don’t ask what we did with all of those. You wouldn’t even believe us if we told you.).
